10 Day Safari of South Africa's  Kruger National Park, Garden Route and Cape Town

This is truly a best of the best. We include Cape Town, reputed to be the most beautiful city in the world. The famous Garden Route also known as the Wine Route and then spend three days in one of Africa's most famous game reserves, Kruger National Park.

CAPE TOWN. Also known as the Cape of Storms with Table Mountain, the most prominent land mark, is shrouded in history.  From the early Dutch settlers who influenced the Cape Dutch style of architecture, to the French Huguenots who have made South African wines world famous.  Cape Town is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. From the Cape Point Nature Reserve, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, to the heart of the Wine Lands, Stellenbosch, where you can taste some of the world's best wines and ports.

CERES.  This fertile valley is the largest producer of fruit in South Africa and also has he largest fruit-packing house in the southern hemisphere.  A scenic drive will take us to Kagga Kamma, where a resident bushman tribe's traditions and culture may be observed.

OUDTSHOORN.  Also known as the Feather Capital of the world, with its large Ostrich industry where a working farm in the area will be visited.  We will also visit the Cango Caves, regarded as one of South Africa's natural wonders, as well as a Cheetah Farm.

GEORGE.  The largest town  the garden route nestled beneath the Outinequa Mountain Range is world renown for its Black Wood and Stinkwood Furniture Factories.  From George, a short tour to Knysna and Knysna Lagoon, a visit to Plattenburg Bay, along with shopping and sundowner's at Tappas Jetty make this a spectacular stop.

CAMDEBOO SAFARI LODGE.  After a tour through the Little Karoo, we will now travel and enter into the Big Karoo where we will be treated to game drives and the legendary Karoo hospitality and outdoor braai (barbeque). Modern thatched chalets will ensure comfort and the experience of Africa with Impala roaming through the camp.

GRAFF REINET.  Abounds with history and architectural beauty and makes this town a photographers paradise.  A visit to the "Valley of Desolation" is a must.  A tour to Addo Elephant Park, home of several hundred elephants and other indigenous game will be enjoyed.  A night game drive and a spit braai will be enjoyed under the evening stars.

PORT ELIZABETH / JOHANNESBURG.  We will fly from Port Elizabeth, a beautiful Indian Ocean port with long sandy beaches, to Johannesburg, the world's largest city not built on water. Here we tour the nearby capital of South Africa, Pretoria, as well as Gold Reef City, a reconstructed Gold Mine and frontier town.

KRUGER NATIONAL PARK.  A short flight from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park, the world's most famous and oldest national wildlife park (which is the size of Massachusetts), where two nights will be spent in a bush camp.  This is SAFARI TIME, with game drives giving you the opportunity to see elephant, lion, rhino and other prolific games species.  This will conclude your African Safari and a short return flight to Johannesburg where your South African adventure will end and you will prepare for your return flight home.
